Sanger High School (Apaches) 2007- 2008 Home Coming!!

Daniel Castro Romero, Jr. Lipan Apache Band of Texas Inc. Chairman spoke with Sanger High School (Apaches) Principle and made arrangements for the Lipan Apache to come to their homecoming game Friday October 12, 2007.

 It was a wet drizzly cold night in Sanger, California as the Lipan Apache Band of Texas danced there way on to the Sanger High football field as those that attended watched. Chairman Daniel Castro Romero, Jr. spoke to all in the Lipan language and open the Sanger High Home Coming Ceremonies with a Lipan prayer. Afterwards he spoke a bit about the Lipan history as everyone who attended listen quietly in the stands. When he completed his speech the Lipan Apache Band of Texas danced to the drums as they walked off the field.
